I created this Substack to bring you soulful, practical teachings on Human Design — a space to explore how understanding your energy can change the way you live, lead, and love.
After starting with the Human Design Type series, I knew the next step was to guide you deeper — into the Profile Lines. This is where we begin to understand how your soul is here to express its energy in the world. It’s not just about how you move, but why. What you’re here to teach. What role you naturally hold in the collective. And how your real gifts come alive through your lived experience.
What are Profile Lines?
In Human Design, your Profile describes the role you’re here to play in this life. It shapes your purpose, your relationships, your leadership, your visibility, and how your wisdom moves from inside you… out into the world.
Your Profile is made up of two numbers — like 1/3, 2/4, or 6/2 — and each number corresponds to one of six “Lines.” These Lines are archetypal energies you carry. They are the characters in your story, the themes you embody, and the role your soul came here to explore.
Each Line has its own unique flavour — its gifts, its challenges, its way of leading and learning and loving.

🌿 To walk through her room. To feel her rhythm. To recognise her in yourself and in others.
🌿 To honour what you carry. And to better understand those you are here to guide, love, and serve.
Why the Profile Line Matters
Your first Line (the first number in your Profile) represents how you know yourself.
Your second Line (the second number in your Profile) is how others experience you.
Together, they shape your identity — and the way your gifts move through the world.
And there’s something even more powerful…
Your Personality North Node Line shows you who you are here to serve.
This is your aligned audience — the soul client, student, or collaborator you’re naturally designed to see and support.
When you understand your own Profile and the Line you’re here to guide, you can begin to build a business, offer, and presence that is rooted in deep energetic truth.
One that honours your way. One that doesn’t need to be forced or faked.
Just trusted.
If You Don’t Know Your Profile Yet
You can find your Profile by generating your free chart at Genetic Matrix.
All you need is your exact birth date, time, and place.
Your Profile is shown as two numbers (e.g. 3/5, 2/4). These numbers are what we call the Lines. The line number is the number after the decimal - i.e. my personality sun (top number on the right hand side of the chart) is 63.1 and my design sun (top number on the left hand side of the chart) is 5.4 - therefore my profile lines are 1/4.
If you want to find out which Line your aligned audience carries, look for your Personality North Node (☊ on the right hand side of your chart) and again note the Line number that comes after the decimal — for example, Gate 28.6 = Line 6.
A Note From My Journey
For me, discovering my Profile was like being handed the script I didn’t know I’d been acting out all my life.
I’m a 1/4 — a Foundation Builder (line 1) who thrives through connection (line 4). I spent years deep-diving, learning, preparing... but it wasn’t until I started sharing what I knew that things began to move. My Line 4 wasn’t just secondary — it was the pathway through which my gifts could actually land.
That’s why I believe this work is so powerful. Because sometimes the very thing we think we’re “not good at” is actually the missing piece that allows us to shine.
And sometimes the people we’re struggling to attract… just aren’t the ones we’re here for.
Understanding the Profile Lines changes that. It softens the struggle. It clarifies the path.
It shows you:
You’re not wrong.
You’re just built differently.
And your design already knows the way.
Explore the Profile Lines
Each of the six Profile Lines carries a unique soul frequency — a way of being, learning, influencing, and leading. Each one is equally valid. Each one plays a vital role in our collective evolution.
In this series, you’ll meet all six. You may recognise yourself in your Profile, your clients in your North Node, or your partner, children, or team in their expressions.
Let yourself feel each one. Trust what resonates. Follow your curiosity.

Wherever you are on your journey, you are exactly where you need to be.
The Profile Lines don’t give you new rules to follow.
They simply reflect the truth you already know in your bones.
You’re not here to become someone else.
You’re here to remember who you are.
